About Our Team Of Artisans, Management & Stonemasons In London
The CI Team draws on over three-and-a-half decades of experience in stone selection, processing and installation, informed by additional skillsets in contract administration & site management. Together, this leaves us positioned as a preeminent authority within the realm of natural stone both in the UK and wider Europe.
One major facet of our specialist skillset are the experiences of our founder, Colin McKenna. He was originally based in Italy, where he spent 12 years learning stone processing and installation while working for an Italian quarry-owning fabricator.
Owing to his ear for languages, Colin was quickly promoted to site manager and became the company interface with architects, main contractors and clients, overseeing international projects as far afield as Perth, New York City and the Cote D'Azur.
CI represents the culmination of this experience and the practical lessons learned therein, which we uphold with the following values:

We work in structured teams, with every 5 operatives reporting to a trained SSSTS- or SMSTS-accredited supervisor. Each supervisor, in turn, reports to a senior manager, they to a project manager and the project manager to Colin directly.
When it comes to the day-to-day running of operations, CI uses diligent online monitoring software to track the progress of projects, ongoing contracts and the HSQE adherence of the company at large.
